What a Savior we have. What a God we serve. What a free gift of eternal life He has given us. All glory and honor and praise to our God. Thank you Jesus that you were willing to take my place, take all my sins and shed your precious blood to cleanse me of my sins. Amen
Since a child, I have believed in Christ Jesus. Although I lived a sinful life as a teenager, I always knew He was real and watched over me. I can't imagine living a life without knowing Him, or what the world would be like if Jesus had never come. This poem captures that thought. But, thank the Lord, He has come and is coming again. May we be those who love His appearing and are eager to see Him face to face. Thank you, Ned and Frank, for sharing.
Good to see you and Ned are doing well and have reconnected. Years ago, Ned and I talked on the phone and he read a poem had had written about G. H. Pember. I replied, "Cool." Ned's response revealed he knew I didn't have a tuned ear to appreciate verse on the same level as he does-lol.

This is basically one of the most beautiful poems I have EVER read!

If it is the poem I am thinking of, we may be working on it soon. It is quite long,
Thank you, Kyle. Much appreciated.
